I am a single mother with a beautiful 15 yr old downs syndrome princess. My ex refuses to support her and I am struggling. I put off a couple of bills to buy her school clothes and supplies and now I have to pay those bills but 2 months worth now I am facing having my Gas and electricty turned off soon. I have tried getting a loan but on a fixed income its almost impossible. My parents are on social security and they dont have the extra money to help. I have taken my ex to court for the 3rd time trying to get support but he refuses to pay. i am only short $150 and if anyone can help I can pay it back a little at a time. I am in desparate need.. my daughter is my life..

Hi. I am a 29 year old mother of 2 who has recently lost my job. I have not one cent of income coming in and I have exhausted all possibilites. I tried to apply for welfare but I was denied the check portion. I have registered with the WINN job center, I am digilently on the computer daily looking for anything and I have signed up with the department of human resources but the first appointment is next month, much too late. If anyone knows of any job openings or leads particularily in south Jackson, please help. All my bills are behind I am facing disconnect notices left and right.

I just qualified for disability. I have been behind on my bills for 2 years now just trying to keep up with my doctor bills and paying for medication. It will cost me over 25% of my income leaving me short on my rent and food bills. I had to turn over my car to the finance company last year because I can't afford the payments. I won't qualify for medicade for another 16 months. HELP!

My husband is totally disabled and unable to work. I have a lot of health problems, and can't work. I tried to get SS disability, but was turned down because I haven't worked since 1999. We moved to take care of my father, and when he had to go to a senior home, we had to borrow against our car to pay his first/last month rent. He has since moved into a lock down facility elsewhere, due to my brothers. We did not get our deposit back and we're still paying loan on car off. Car was hit on May 01,2007 and we've been told it is a total loss. Wreck was not my fault, but other driver. His insurance company is trying to force us into a settlement, that I don't think is fair. They also informed me on 05-08-07, that I have until 05-11-07 to accept, clean out car of my belongings, and turn rental car in. This car was the only source of transportation we have, and I don't see how we're supposed to get check( unfair amount) from them,pay note off, and find another car in 3 days. We've gotten behind the 8 ball in our bills, and can't get out. Our power is off, landlord is threatening to evict us, water may get turned off soon, and now this wreck happened. I've been having back, chest, and left elbow pain since wreck, but not sure if insurance will pay it since I didn't report it? We have 2 teenagers who have gone through all of this bad luck with us, and I would like to get things fixed so they don't have to go without things they need. PLEASE  HELP with whatever you can.

I hate to have to do this, but i seriously am in dire need of  appx. $3000. I am in the military and the bills keep piling up and getting more and more past due. I just don't know what to do accept to ask for help. So, if you can, please do.   Thank you soo much

I was injured on the job on 02/07/06 and teminated after seven years of being employed with my employer on 02/09/06. I injured my back, neck, knee and left shoulder/arm. I am disabled at this time with the injuries, depression and severe anxiety and can't work. The insurance company is fighting 75% case and I have no income to pay my mortgage or other bills. They have acknowledged my left knee and I will be having surgery before 12/29/06 and this will lay me up from 3-6 months, including rehab. I am in litagation against the insurance company but will not know anything until after a hearing scheduled for 01/09/07. My attorney feels 150% confident we will prevail but until then, I am on my own. I am only in need of temporary help with my mortgage and bills, so my I won't lose my home. Any pledges I receive, I will gladly repledge what I can after my settlement so others can be helped. Any questions, comments or recommendations are welcomed. 

I could ramble on and on but I won't take a lot of time for readers of this post.

I am employed however unable to keep up with all of my bills. I am a cancer survivor and can work but sometimes must take off due to my illness. My doctor says that I will need another surgery in the next six months. Bill collectors are calling daily for money that I don't have and unable to make arrangements to pay. If you have been in this situation, you know the stress that I am having in my life. I owe $2000 in past due bills and ask for any amount of financial assistance you can share.
